Among all the probabilities for the majesty Zahra1 ( pbuh)’ s martyrdom , the ones which refer to 75 or 95 days2, are more reliable.

A question ( raises): What’s the reason behind this difference in  number of the days?

The answer: Number 75 is written in Arabic as” khamsa wa-sab’un” and 95 as” khamsa wa tis’un”۳٫

Given that, in ancient times there was not so different punctuation for” sab’un” and “tis’un”- they left many letters without dots3-Hence, there has remained a doubt whether it was “ sabun or tasun”!

A memory:

Hojjat al – Islam Adib Yazdi said:

Once I was speaking with the leader( Mr. Khameneii),

when a man asked which one was the correct date for  the majesty Zahra( pbuh)’s martyrdom, 75 or 95?

The leader answered it wisely. He said:

Does it make difference for you, which one is correct!?

God wants us to revive more our mother [the majesty Zahra( pbuh)]’s good memory. It also wants us to mourn and remember their virtues more.

In fact, the majesty Fatima( pbuh)’s upper part of body didn’t hurt, but it was her respect!

۱-  And The majesty Zahra(pbuh) is prophet Muhammd(pbuh&h)’ s  dignified daughter who wss imam Ali(pbuh)’ s wife.

۲- ۷۵ days or 95 days refer to nu ber of days after prophet Muhammd(pbuh&h)’s death. Its not clear whether The majesty Zahra(pbuh)’s martyrdom is 75 day or 95 days after her father’s death.

۳- “sab’un” and “tis’un” in Arabic are similar in dictation, and the dots which are special for Arian letters make difference between them.
