Let’s analyze again “Friday”

[On Fridays we have] Nudba paryer1 crying, conventions, looking forward the Emergence… [But why do we again commit] sins?

On this Friday, your [ritual] chest beater again cries.

S/ he is upset and cries, since you haven’t come

The land of Karbobala [stressed form of the word” Karbala”] cries, because of parting you.

It cries before your ancestor, who wasn’t covered with shroud.

It has been many years when you speak, Nahyia Muqaddasa2 prayer

has been crying, with every phrase

That night, I saw a person was crying loud under the cupola.

They were crying for your ancestor whose body was wholly torn in the war [In Karbala]

I said, “Dear Husayn (pbuh), your mother_ I suppose_

is crying for your blouse [since it was full of blood, when he was killed in Krbala]

Since your corps has been left on the dirt here, ʾAbū Turāb3 cries for you,

And since your head was hung on a spear, your Hassan (pbuh) [your brother] cries for you.

Sir! For sure, the straw,

has been still crying at the way of covering you with shroud

What’s up on you?

Your blood is crying in shambles.

۱-           Nudba prayer is one of the major Shiite prayers about Muhammad al-Mahdi and his occultation. Nudba means to cry and Shiites read the prayer for ask to help them during the occultation.

۲-           Nahyia Muqaddasa is a prayer by Imam Zaman (hgr) for Imam Husayn (pbuh) recited on the day of ‘Ashura. The famous ziyarah starts with expressing salutations to divine Prophets and the infallible Imams, it continues with expressing salutations to Imam al-Husayn (pbuh) and his companions. Then, it follows with some of the characteristics and virtues of the Imam,

۳-           ʾAbū Turāb: Katwari[2] says,  “The first person titled as ‘Abu Turab’ was ‘Ali b. Abi Talib (pbuh). When the Prophet (pbuh&h) saw him lying on the ground and saw the dust on his clothing and body, he gently and kindly said to him: ‘Get up, O’ ʾAbū Turāb!’
