[Regarding the Emergence] Mufazzal1 said:

[Once] I asked my lord; Imam Sadiq (pbuh),

‘Does the Awaited Imam; Mahdi (hgr)’s mission have certain time, and should people know that?”

The Imam (pbuh) stated, “Never does God determine his emergence time such that our Shiites know that!

I asked, ‘Why? My Lord!

The Imam (pbuh) stated,

‘It’s the very time that God stated [in the below verse]:’

يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ السَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَاهَا قُلْ إِنَّمَا علمها عند ربی لَا يُجَلِّيهَا لِوَقْتِهَا إِلَّا هُوَ ثَقُلَتْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ لَا تَأْتِيكُمْ إِلَّا بَغْتَةً…[اعراف/۱۸۷]

[Our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)]They ask thee about the (final) Hour – when will be its appointed time? Say: “The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (alone): None but He can reveal as to when it will occur. Heavy were its burden through the heavens and the earth. Only, all of a sudden will it come to you.”… (The holy Quran, Surah AL-ARAF, Verse 187)

O`, Mufazzal! Just God knows the time.
